Our Experience at The Marigold School of Early Learning: We’ve had a wonderful year at Marigold. My son who is 4 yrs old has enjoyed the many interesting toys and provocations that Ms. Heidi has available for the kids. She encourages creativity, problem solving, building, painting, crafting and imagination. The kids love her and my son likes to go to school and does not fight me, which is a huge win. Our Experience at The Marigold School of Early Learning: I am so grateful that we found The Marigold School and Heidi. I’m a teacher myself and had more anxiety than I expected about sharing my child’s education with another educator. It didn’t take long, though, to see that my kiddo was in wonderful hands. Heidi’s extensive experience combines hands-on expertise with deep knowledge of child development; she knows exactly what children at this stage in their development need. She gives them space to follow their own interests and acts as a facilitator, building upon the children’s own initiative. She has created a lovely, enriching environment for them to flourish in their self-directed education. She helps the children nurture relationships with each other and builds a strong, little community so they can learn from one another as well. Heidi is incredibly observant and communicative, so I always feel like I know what’s going on. My kiddo struggled with difficult impulse control issues when she first started, and Heidi was patient, understanding, and incredibly compassionate while working with her to build the skills she needed. I am amazed at the amount of growth I’ve seen over the last year, and I know that Heidi deserves credit for a huge part of that. Heidi clearly loves children and that shines through in the care she gives them and the way the children love her back wholeheartedly. Sara
Our Experience at The Marigold School of Early Learning: Both of our children went to The Marigold School and had amazing experiences! The small class size created such a strong community amongst the children and the families. Both my son and daughter loved attending and built wonderful friendships and social/emotional skills that have provided a strong foundation for a successful Kindergarten experience.
